A night or two ago, I did some quick calculating and realized that Fruits Basket has been my drug of choice for four and a half years. No wonder its winding-down is hitting me so hard. But Shadow says it looks like we should have another two chapters (at least). And this is my favorite chapter in quite a while, which is saying something. ( reacting as I read--this chapter includes another case of Takaya-sensei taking the time to explore something I desperately wanted examined, and my heart is breaking and singing all at once )

Deadline met with a few days to spare--"The Map of Her Body" is up in this post. This one, as you may have gathered, has been in the works for *months* . . . which is a bit sad, since it clocks in at only 640 words.
